Eden Springs LLC
Eden Springs LLC opened for business as Eden Springs Tax and Bookkeeping in January 2022. It offers tax preparation services to individuals and small businesses, and bookkeeping for small businesses, both locally in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and nationwide online. UPDATE: Eden Springs Tax and Bookkeeping closed in 2023.

Peter Kirk
Peter Kirk is the owner and CEO of Eden Springs LLC. He is also the Business Manager of his wife Lorenza Manara Marchi’s dance studio business Italia Performing Arts LLC.
Peter was born and spent much of his life in south east England. He studied physics and mathematics at the University of Cambridge. He worked for several years for GEC Marconi Research. He then studied theology, to master’s level, at London Bible College. He served for several years with Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Bible Societies, as part of a team translating the Bible into languages of the former Soviet republics.
Peter and his Italian wife Lorenza moved to Woodstock, Virginia in 2012. As well as support and bookkeeping for Lorenza’s business, he has worked as a volunteer tax preparer for the IRS VITA program.
Peter has completed the IRS Annual Filing Season Program for 2022.

Our Name
To the first European settlers, it is said, this part of the Shenandoah Valley seemed like the Garden of Eden, and they named one of their towns Edenburg, now Edinburg. To Peter, the area looks more like the beautiful Eden Valley in northern England, where his grandparents lived. On the five acre property near Woodstock where Peter and Lorenza live there are several springs of water. So they gave the name Eden Springs to their home, and now to this business based there.

The business logo for Eden Springs shows the two fruit trees which, according to the Book of Genesis, stood in the middle of the Garden of Eden, and four springs as the sources of the four rivers which flowed out of the garden.
